Admission Information

Eligibility:

This batch is tailored for elementary-level drawing and painting, aligning with the preparation for the elementary and intermediate drawing grade examinations conducted by the Department of Arts, Maharashtra Government. Students with prior experience in drawing and painting or those aged above 10 years without prior experience are eligible to apply. Applicants should have a basic understanding of the topics listed under “Lessons Covered So Far.” Admission is based on availability of vacancy. 

Activity fees

  • fee:  ₹ 800 per month
  • Payment Schedule: Collected on a quarterly basis

Age and Gender Criteria

This batch is open to all children aged above 10 years and to students aged 6 to 10 years with prior experience in drawing and painting. Admission for applicants aged 6 to 10 years will be granted only after they pass an assessment test conducted by the instructor.

Essential requirements for students

  • Attendance & Punctuality: Regular attendance and punctuality are mandatory. Students must attend all scheduled classes and arrive on time.

  • Practice: Regular practice at home is required to reinforce the skills and techniques learned during class.

  • Performance Participation: Students are expected to participate in various event conducted by the DCC as part of academics. 

  • Materials & Supplies: Students are responsible for bringing their own drawing and painting materials, including sketchbooks, pencils, brushes, paints, and any other required supplies as specified by the instructor.

  • Classroom Conduct: Students are expected to maintain a respectful and positive attitude towards the instructor and fellow classmates

  • Assignments: Homework assignments and projects must be completed on time. Failure to do so may affect the student’s progress and participation in performances.
