DCC Annual Membership

DCC Annual Membership: Membership is required to join any DCC coaching classes. The current membership period runs from April 2024 to March 2025, with a fee of Rs 200. Employees of DAE units can apply for membership by submitting an application form available at the DCC office. The application must include employment details, such as office address and telephone number. The DCC office may request proof of employment for verification. Once approved, the member and their dependent family members are eligible to join any DCC coaching classes. Dependents do not need separate memberships but must provide proof of dependency, such as a CHSS card, if requested. Applications for annual membership and activity enrollment can be submitted together if needed.

Application for Joining Coaching Classes

Admission to coaching classes is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Employees or their dependent family members can apply by sending the following details to daeculturalcentre@gmail.com.

The date and time of the email’s receipt will be used to determine your place on the waiting list. When your turn arrives, you will receive an email invitation to visit the DCC office to complete the admission process. You do not need to have a DCC membership to send an email application for joining classes. You can apply for membership once admission is offered to you.

Age and Gender Requirements

Some coaching activities have specific age and gender requirements. Please review the prerequisites for each activity before submitting your email application. The minimum age for joining any activity is 6 years.

Refund Policy

Fees paid to DCC are non-refundable and non-transferable. Therefore, it is highly recommended that applicants thoroughly understand all terms, conditions, and prerequisites before joining. If needed, applicants are encouraged to consult with the faculty prior to admission. The DCC office can assist in arranging a meeting with the faculty if required.

Choosing Instructors

For some coaching classes offered by DCC, multiple instructors are available. If there are vacancies in more than one batch conducted by different instructors, applicants will have the option to choose their preferred batch. However, if a vacancy is available in only one batch, the applicant must join that batch; otherwise, their name will be removed from the waiting list.

Activity fees

Fees for coaching classes are collected on a quarterly basis. If admission is offered at the beginning of a quarter, the applicant must pay fees for three months upfront. If admission is offered in the second month of the quarter, the applicant will need to pay for two months. For admission in the third month, only one month’s fee is required.

Payment Options

Applicants can pay admission fees and activity fees via direct transfer or any UPI payment method to the following account.

  • Cheque payment: Cheque in favour of ‘DAE Cultural Centre’ quoting student’s name, activity name and batch behind the cheque.

Please note that cash payments are not accepted.

Batch Changes

Students can request a batch change, whether to a different batch with the same instructor or a new instructor, by filling out a batch change form available at the office. Batch changes will be permitted only in the month following the application. Approval depends on the instructor’s assessment of the student’s eligibility for the desired batch and the availability of space.

Complaints and Suggestions

Applicants can submit complaints and suggestions regarding admission or classes by filling out a Complaints and Suggestions form available at the office. Completed forms should be placed in the complaint box located at the entrance of the DCC hall. Alternatively, complaints and suggestions can be emailed to daeculturalcentre@gmail.com. For urgent matters, please contact any managing committee member via telephone or WhatsApp.

Communication

All students will be added to two WhatsApp groups for effective communication. The first group is specific to the batch the student is enrolled in. This group is intended for essential communications related to the batch, such as class scheduling and sharing notes from faculty. It is not intended for raising complaints or suggestions.
